fabric qorn was born in Shanghai, October 2019. The brand combines Chinese aesthetics with a modern perspective to revive the culture’s forgotten beauty and explores diverse approaches of cultural representation. fabric qorn hopes to reestablish cultural confidence among the young generation and invites people of non-Chinese origin to pursue Chinese culture.
DESIGNER
Designer Chenxi Zhao grew up in Xi’an, China and studied in the U.S. since high school. He graduated from University of California, Davis with a B.A. in Design and a minor in Textiles. His design bridges eastern and western values and embodies his self-realization and self-exploration as a young Chinese navigating and expanding beyond the western-influenced space.
