MING MA completed his BA and MA fashion course at Central Saint Martins after receiving a Lane Crawford Scholarship, and established his namesake label in Shanghai in 2018. Following the brand spirit of ‘an instinct for surprise’, the fresh collection makes use of the designer’s 3D-cutting and draping techniques to create unique sculptural silhouettes that aim to revive the elegant ease of the contemporary women.

MING was sponsored by Lane Crawford Scholarship and mentored by Professor Louise Wilson in the MA Fashion course. MING established his namesake label in Shanghai in 2018, and debuted with LABELHOOD for SS2019 collection. The collection has received International press including VOGUE US and VOGUE ITALIA, reviewed as ‘Shanghai Fashion Week:5 best talents’.
MA’s first collection has gained stockists including JOYCE, Lane Crawford, LABELHOOD, MDC etc.
